We are now researching intentional communities, ecovillages, co-housing projects and more places of sustainable culture and will start presenting them on this website in 2025.

“eurotopia” has listed intentional communities in Europe since 1997 – as an edited, printed resource. Based in Sieben Linden Ecovillage in Germany, we maintain (often personal) contacts with intentional communities all over the world.

As the printed eurotopia directory (click here for current English version, click here for current German version) has been the most comprehensive collection of community addresses and descriptions in Europe, this website will be the most complete and up-to-date international communities directory outside of the US, where IC.org has been a valuable resource for intentional communities for many years.
